Noted for the quotation mark, thanks. (I had also noted to homogenize
the use of delayfeed.conf and innfeed-delayed.conf.)

However, I have a question about the shell expansion. I have always
used commands like
   ctlinnd flush innfeed!
without any problem (with bash and zsh).
Does it cause a problem in some shells, and do you have an example of one?

We currently do not have quotation marks in such commands in our manual
pages. If there is a need to add those, I can add them where needed.

P.-S.: A dash ("-") in the argument of "ctlinnd begin" does not cause a
problem either on my shell.

! is the history expansion character and technically bash suggests that
you quote it, but if it's followed by a space or a newline it's safe to
not quote it.

Please send questions to the list rather than mailing me directly.
     <https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/faqs/questions.html> explains why.

OK, thanks for your response.
As "!" is at the end of site names in all our examples, then I suggest
to keep them unchanged without quotes.
