If the Church is the Bride and Christ is the Bridegroom, then why is it
so terrible if we disagree on a few issues? Or do "bible believing
christians" hold to the outdated notion that a wife must be completely
submissive? Or is it just that disagreements on the wedding night
(implied by the terms bride and bridegroom) are considered unseemly?
