G'day All,

Clare, you are waxing whimsical today, and it would be a pity if no one replied. So I will, but at a tangent, I'm afraid.

Today I was invited by a friend from another denomination to a mens' breakfast where the speaker will expound what the bible says about homosexuality. And that brought to mind the Thinking Big web site which Stephen mentioned a day or two back.

Which got me thinking, is the human intellect primarily a gift from God, that we might find her; or is the human intellect a temptation and stumbling block which takes us away from God. Then again, perhaps that is too black and white, and it could be a bit of both.

Kind regards,
Lindsay Brash.

If the Church is the Bride and Christ is the Bridegroom, then why is it so terrible if we disagree on a few issues? Or do "bible believing christians" hold to the outdated notion that a wife must be completely submissive? Or is it just that disagreements on the wedding night (implied by the terms bride and bridegroom) are considered unseemly?
