It's Sunday morning 6:00 am and I haven't slept much, decided to quickly look at the smh online and saw an article by Miranda Devine which is usually good for a laugh... (It was supposed to have something to do with religion)
After a bit of a tirade bemoaning the world's general decent into hopelessness - there was this bit about John Laws... including

Honey-voiced and big-hearted, he has created an entertaining mix of opinion, idiosyncrasy and country music few in radio can match. At 68, he is an inspiration to a grey generation, the so-called New Old, who will remain relatively healthy and vital into their 80s. This hitherto-ignored demographic is willing to spend money and exercise power, no longer content to slink meekly into obscurity.
