Bev's reply- in actual fact it is almost all of your life Darren. I was present at the Yarra Valley presbytery meeting in 1982 when the debate began- that is 21 years ago. I have lived through the long and thorough theological and Biblical debate in the church in the 1980's about sexuality and the long and thorough theological and Biblical debate in the 1990's over sexuality and now it looks like I will have to live through the long and thorough theological and Biblical debate of the 2000's. I'm with you, I am thoroughly sick of talking about this issue. My hope for 84 was that we would agree to live togehter in peace with differing views and get on with other matters of mission and ministry in the church. It seems others are not prepared to do this.
