The "American Family Association" ran an 'public' online poll which they only told their members about. When the URL became public and they didn't get the results they wanted, they not only decided not to use it, but complained that the scales have been unfairly tilted. If nothing else, it's a good laugh, and a great example of how to produce the 'right result' NOTE: I'm not saying that the final result is any more accurate, only that it does show how badly polls can be managed, or mis-managed.
