T'was disappointed with the story on compass and the Harmony program
altogether. I got the feeling that there was indeed a lot of warm fuzzys,
extreme simplicity and not much hard headed material.

I was disappointed that the UC has not been included in this program
considering the efforts of the Church regarding inter-faith dialogue. I was
disappointed that James Haire was not recognised as the past-President of
the UC. I was disappointed that there seemed to be a feeling of "I am a
Christian...sorry".

Further to this story I was witness to a march from Hyde Park up to
Parliament House a couple of weeks ago organised by these three (where the
patchwork message was presented). Over 1000 school children marched. They
came from many schools - Jewish colleges, Muslim colleges and public
schools. Is this to imply that public schools represent the Christian
community?

Muslims and Jews were represented by numerous dignitories, Christians were
represented by one person, Rev Fred Nile, who may well have attended as a
member of State Parliament.

I agree with James Haire's comments though. The Christian Church can't keep
apologising for being Christian - I can't find that in the Gospels.
