Not so much my thoughts, but... We have a young woman in our congregation from a Buddhist background who was converted through the Catholic Church, but deliberately sought out a Uniting Church congregation because she believed that Christians should be "uniting", ie "becoming one in Christ", in the spirit of Colossians 1: 17-18 "He is the head of the body, the church".
Not that she limits uniting to the UC, she also believes she is called to be a bridge-builder between us and other denominations.
