Hi Tom,

A good starter for the enneagram is Riso and Hudson's "Personality Types: Using the Enneagram for Self-Discovery". My copy was about $30 some years ago. It is long (over 500 pages), but you can get the gist of it in the early chapters. The rest discusses each of the personality types in detail.

Ann Siddall presented some material on journalling at the "Becoming Disciples" consultation last week, which will go onto the disciples.unitingchurch.org.au website when I get a chance.

As for Methodism, it might be worth emailing Robert Gribben ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). He teaches at the theological hall in Melbourne.

Hope that helps.

Subject: Books inquiry

Hi everyone,

Wondering if people have some suggestions regarding these topics:

  1. A Book on the Enneagram one that isnt too long but sufficient as a starting point.

  2. A book on John Wesleys development of Methodism (BEFORE it became an independent denomination).  Including the principles of classes and spiritual development.

  3. A book on Christian Journaling.

All comments welcome.

Tom
