We've pushed out all the changes from the Friday release, as well as some enhancements (and bugfixes) associated with email notifications. Tomorrow we'll enable the notifications, so that users will get emails whenever they receive a new connection request, message, wall comment, or blog comment. Of course, in concert with this we've introduced individual preferences so that users can turn the notifications off. The interface for turning off notifications (which is on the profile edit page) is functional but ugly; kudos to the first person to submit a more polished version. (The interface itself won't show up until notifications get turned on, so you'll see it tomorrow.)
Since we decided to give you all the heads-up about email notifications before turning them on, I'll be sending the promised global message (with deactivation criteria) tomorrow instead of today.
