I saw this, and solved it by setting
 PCIC_OPTS="irq_list=9,11"
in /etc/sysconfig/pcmcia

It seems that IRQ10 (at least on the 3200 as shipped) causes problems.

I still have to halt pcmcia services before suspending, or it hangs.
Haven't gotten around to upgrading from stock RH5.1 pcmcia yet to see if
that helps.
