On the contrary to what I've read on the web pages, I experience randomly
occuring crashes when shutting down X not just with AcceleratedX, but also the
XBF_Neomagic server (though less frequent). This is all with BIOS A05, Linux
2.0.35.

Does anybody know if

(1) it is possible to revert to a previous BIOS (I recall there was a
version check during installation)

(2) one of the prev. BIOSes behaves better with respect to the X-shutdown (I'm
not interested in the kbdrate)
