Chris,
Tried that one on your suggestion, to no avail. I get the same effect as
running it from the hard drive: I'm asked if I would like to enable large
disk support, then I get a blank screen with the cursor blinking toward the
lower right. Didn't have the problem before I tried installing Linux, but
then I've only had the laptop and Win98 for about a week now, so perhaps
there's something I'm missing.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
John

While you can't run fdisk from within Windows, you can create a Win98 boot
disk (which contains fdisk), boot with it, and fdisk away!
