Does anyone have any proven method of getting PCMCIA services to work
on the Inspiron 3200? I have yet to figure it out. Every time I try to
load them, the system halts at boot after displaying the following:
Starting PCMCIA Services: modules
The system requires a cold reset to recover from this. This occurs
regardless of whether there are cards present or not.
Also, assuming I get PCMCIA to work, what is the status of support for
the 3C575 Cardbus network card. I've seen reports that those made after
July are completely incompatible, but I've heard rumors that earlier
units can be made to function. (Mine was shipped in mid-June)
If it is possible to get it to work, what is the procedure?
