Hi,
I have just bought an Inspiron 7000, and when trying to install the
sound card in windows NT, I cannot do it because when I select the I/O
port to be 220 and press return, windows NT does not let me go on (there
is a beep coming out from the speakers). Sometimes the I/O port is
accepted, but then in the next window (IRQ, etc.) I have the same
problem.
I have downloaded the driver from ESS, so I guess they must be ok.
Do you know what can I do to solve the problem?? (maybe change some
parameters from the BIOS?)
