I had tried / too, but with no luck.
I recently tried an HD install of 5.1 and it worked. There is something about
the 5.2 boot/supplemental disks that is buggy that is foiling the HD install
of 5.2. I guess since 5.1 worked I'll just stick with that (no time to
bootstrap up to 5.2 at the moment, maybe next week).
