That's facinating because my online guide does not have the VideoModes >
Graphics section. I can go down to "Display" (Which shows up as 13.3 Inch
Display or 12.1 Inch Display, [2 choices]) and then gives you A screen
showing width, height, etc. There is a "Video Modes" Section that I can
get to by going a bit deeper but all that gives you is what Scan rate (in
Hz) by video mode (320x200 is at 70Hz). But this is useless unless you
have the vertical and horizontal scan rates, shown in most manuals like
this:

Vertical: 50 - 90
Horizontal: 45 - 110

Those numbers do not show up in MY users manual...do they in yours?

For my Inspiron 3000,
Scan rate information is in the onboard DELL SYSTEM USER's Guide under
Win95
in the C:\DELL directory
    Features >Specifications>Display>VideoModes>Graphics
though it can also be found using the Index too

It Ain't There. They don't ship that info..and don't publish it either.
Actually, as far as i'm concerned, that info doesn't exist since i've
e-mailed dell on it and have gotten jack.

Does anyone know the specs for the XGA screen on the Inspiron 3200? I'm
using the xconfigurator and the PrecisionInsight X Neomagic server, and of
course they want the nitty gritty details. Has someone dug this stuff from
Dell? I browsed the Dell web and in my manual, didn't see the first thing
about the tech info on the screen.

Thanks in advance.
