You can download the files using windows and then exit windows. Reboot
with linux. Then read to the dos partition with the following commands

% mount -t msdow /dev/fd0 /mnt
% cd /mnt
% cd C:/bladibla/and_so_on_and_so_forth
% cp driver where_ever
% umount /dev/fd0
