I can't even get the PCMCIA configuration to work. I get to the "modules" section
of the bootup and it locks up. It works this way whether the PCMCIA gets loaded
at boot time or manually when I use "/etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia start".
The card is a 3com 3c589D, which has difficulties in some versions of the newer
PCMCIA 3.x driver. Funny thing is that it is one of the first cards listed as
"supported".
