Past messages have relayed peoples experience with Dell support, here I am
relying my experiece with two vendors. First, Linux mall, good price was
but
the service was strange (for a computer company). I ordered the current
Red Hat, and some other items. A week and a half passed and I started to
wonder where my order was. I emailed Linux Mall, and they seemed
suprised that 15+ days was not what I was expecting. The order was placed
the 3rd, and not shipped till the 21st. All totalled it looks like it
will take about a month to get it. They made this sound like it was
business as usual.
Dirt Cheap Drives, yet another discount drive/tape seller. I got my
Iomega Ditto from them, it is set up in Windows currently working on
Linux. Not a bad unit ~$200 with rebate, and 5gig per tape. They got my
purchase to me almost instantly.
