I've had no problems with Red Hat 5.1 and 5.2 except that I can't get my
sound card working quite right (I can't play mp3's).  I did have to
recompile the kernel to get APM to work right, but I imaging that you have
to do that in any distribution.  You also have to get the Xserver for the
neomagic chipset.  It is free and installs quite well.
