I'm just thinking that if you go to hardware profiles (right click on my
computer and properties), then go to the ps/2 port or the ps/2 mouse
(possibly labelled as the Touchpad if you have the correct drivers) and
double click on it and go to disable or click off enabled by default at
the bottom of the box (I'm not sure how they phrase it, but I'm fairly
sure it's there) windows shouldn't go looking for another one, because
it's already detected, but it shouldn't load it either.
