Hi , I have installed opensolaris as a dual boot with windows a number of times . But for the past few months I have been working on opensolaris through VirtualBox . Now when I am trying to change from virtual box to bare metal installation I am not able to. My CD drive is not working so I burned the ISO onto a DVD and tried to install . The grub menu came and but after NMI received there was problem . It shows some output like fffffff*0 some text fffffff*0 some text fffffff*0 some text fffffff*0 some text 6 4 4 2 2 2 2 2 ( I/O system error). I thought the DVD might not have been written properly but the same DVD works on another laptop. Then I thought there might be some problem with DVD installation and hence I tried to boot from Live USB which I created and even that is showing the same error which I got from DVD installation.
