We are in the process of contributing amanda community edition in to opensolaris, we do have working SVR4 Solaris packages and converted them to IPS format, can do pkgsend and install from a local pkg repo.
Few questions : How do we handle pre install scripts in IPS? We handle most of post install stuff using SMF but don't know how to handle pre install in IPS. Do we have any workarounds?. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
