Hello, I've got a 2009.6 installation of Opensolaris on my work workstation. It's a WhiteBoX Intel Atom assembled PC.
Recently on login to my desktop, I see popping up the update icon on the Infotray upright. Trying to launch the update it fails with the following message: Preparing... Ensuring Package Manager is up to date... Gathering packages information, please wait... Error: Your system has already been updated. I have 5 repositories configured in the package manager, with opensolaris.org standard one as the preferred one. My installation is localized in Italian so i've launched package manager with LC_ALL=C exported to grab the above message and look for answers in google and here on opensolaris discuss ml/forums, but i've not been able to find nothing really related to my situation. I'm used at Solaris 8/9/10 but really new at Opensolaris and especially at IPS. any help welcomed. Alex T -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
