Hi, can anyone offer some advice please?

I've been running netbeans 6.5 beta on my OpenSolaris b101 machine, no problems.

Now that Netbeans 6.5 release proper is out, I'm trying to install it, with no
luck as yet.

Firstly, taking the .sh version from the netbeans site, chmodding +x it, set my
display variable as localhost:0.0 and run it -> results in it starting the
installation but stopping on this line:

#Running the installer wizard....

So, failing that, looking in the package system I was surprised to find 6.5
already in there! I notice both netbeans packages and SUNWnetbeans packages -
not clear on the difference(?) but installing both say SUNWnetbeans-ide and
netbeans-ide (which both report to be version 6.5) seems to install ok, but no
shortcut or links are created and I can't find them anywhere?!?

Also, I'm having trouble getting "Developer Tools" appearing in the application
main menu using the menu editor, I've enabled it, it's got things in it (like
netbeans 6.1 and 6.5 beta) but now it refuses to show up (whereas other changes
take effect immediately) - Is this part currently broken?

I've posted on the netbeans 6.5 mailing list but no luck so far. Anyone got
this working ok? If so, what am I doing wrong?

I do still have 6.5 beta installed (because it's working and I didn't want to
remove it just yet, could this be the source of the first problem, installing
the .sh directly?)

Also, it's an x86 64bit platform, fully up to date.

thanks for any help :)
