I couldn't actually determine any difference from the package manager 
descriptions (seemed to be the same versions etc) which I think was part of the 
problem, they appeared to be identical. What's the recommended way to read up 
on packages before installing - can I get a description from the pkg -r 
command? (sorry, still a little new to OpenSolaris and the package manager).
