On my freshly installed opensolaris 2008.11 system, that's what I've done: - start package manager - search: cdrw - select SUNWcdrw - press the green right arrow
After 20minutes, I still have the ?checking package dependencies? dialog. I dont know what is doing, but at least I seem to have regular http web access. Clicking ?cancel? doesnt help either, I have to kill the process for closing the app. My system has an AMD thurion 64bit processor, 1Gb RAM. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
