Thanks James. I'll check out these sites to see if I can find out anything. I realize I probably didn't provide quite enough info This is the DNS error I'm referring to:
opensolaris console login: Dec 16 00:27:23 opensolaris mDNSResponder: Unable to parse DNS server list. Unicast DNS-SD unavailable Dec 16 00:27:34 opensolaris in.routed[534]: route 0.0.0.0/8 --> 0.0.0.0 nexthop is not directly connected. The external driver worked fine two days ago, when I was running 2008.05, so it's not a bad driver. I finally removed the card and was able to complete the install. It took a few times to get NWAM service enabled, but I'm up and running and connecting to the Internet, etc. The solution is simple to me. Don't use the external card. But, I was just curious. Now, all I have to do is get a new eyeglass Rx or figure out how to fix the screen resolution and I'll be all set. : ) jh On 12/17/08 14:05, James Carlson wrote: > Juanita Heieck writes: > >> After mucho issues using image-update to upgrade from 2008.05 to 2008.11, >> I gave up and did a fresh install of 2008.11. >> I am up and running, but only my internal wireless card is being >> detected.
