Hello Again, Sorry for the log delay in response...got caught up in grad school homework. Haven't had time to work on system. I was able to install the package, so thanks to all who replied. I am running Solaris 5.8 and hadn't ever heard of pkgadd. Was able to find a good Solaris book Solaris 9 Administration a basic book. Also read many, many document pages from sun.com/documentation. Also with the help of all who responded, got it done. Next time I will try to give as much info as possible. Thanks again.
