On bugs.opensolaris.org, I submit a bug report about "pkgsend import" approach. The bug I encounter is "reloc.cpio.Z" will failed the import process. Unless I manually extract .cpio.Z contents into reloc subdirectory.
Not sure but I remember that snv_85 version has "pkgsend ... send" support and it can send the SVR4(with reloc.cpio.Z) onto ips deport server. tj -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
