I don't know how you got that impression, but we've never looked for a "reloc.cpio.Z" file and extracted data from it for you. The compressed format we support is faspac, which creates a file in the package called "archive/none.bz2" (or .7z), but that should be working for pkgsend import as well as pkgsend send. And this discussion should really continue on pkg-discuss, not install-discuss, as requested earlier. Danek
