Just one more email, please!

There are some Sun Blueprints which deal with minimising installations
of Solaris

Part I: Minimizing Domains for Sun Fire V1280, 6800, 12K, and 15K Systems

Part II: Minimizing Domains for Sun Fire V1280, 6800, 12K, and 15K Systems

and earlier, the JASS approach was presented

JumpStart Architecture and Security Scripts for the Solaris Operating
Environment - Part 1

JumpStart Architecture and Security Scripts for the Solaris Operating
Environment - Part 2

Environment - Part 3

Now while these are definitely old articles (and could stand
some updating I'm sure) they do present the principles that are
in use today in any number of large installations of minimised
systems, so I think they're still relevant to your quest, at
least until Solaris 11 makes it out the door.
