I can give you the dvd i tried :)
Oh, hmm, could the core file be from the installer?
(And the message about segmentation fault be from something else?)

I did do something out of the ordinary - instead of choosing to boot Solaris
Express after installing, I chose to boot xVM (which seems to be working
perfectly fine as a desktop on my ultra20.)
