I'm trying to install Solaris on my macbook's internal drive and I was
wondering about the status of EFI support. I used bootcamp to shrink the
existing OSX partition and create a fat32 partition. Then I used the fdisk in
OSX to change the ID of the second partition to 0xBF - a.k.a Solaris2. So I'm
guessing that all of this would partition the disk in a GPT sort of a fashion -
since the above are both OSX apps. When I go to install, I get an error about
the partition table being invalid and it wants to just set the whole disk as a
Solaris2 partition. So, that seems to indicate that the installer isn't able to
read the partitioning properly. Is there plans to support it?

I've seen this
bug:http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6413235 but that
workaround doesn't seem to work for me. The installer still complains about the
partitioning and bombs out if you try to install to the whole disk.
