I have reproduced this again and measured the time: (/Images/osol-0906-x86.iso) = 86e19c89a30c9b91cbb096a758dea737 (/Images/osol-1002-124-x86.iso) = 07286c44e70161cfa7395955f4c3ebfa 0906: Time from "loading stage 2" to grub menu is "instantaneous" (< 1 second) 1002-124: Time from "loading stage 2" to grub menu is approx. two minutes Cheers, Nils
