Update 07-Feb-2010
Updated motherboard bios to 2.0 (latest) and tried again with OS 2009.06 and hey presto! it works - boots with USB card reader attached no problems. Now if only there was a driver for the NVidia Ethernet LAN.... ;) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
