1) Check your drivers with Sun Device Detection Tool I do not see this as a driver issue - I CAN boot to the 2nd HD if I hide the IDE HD in BIOS
2) Try latest dev version of OpenSolaris from http://www.genunix.org I did have 124 on 3) Try to update BIOS No Updates available to my BIOS This just seems like a Issue where OS cannot boot to a 2nd HD It looks like it will only boot to the First HD at least with my setup: IDE=1st HD and SATA HD =2nd HD and the BIOS I have.
