Jeff:

Can you do the following:

1. Can you try the latest osol_134 livecd and see whether this still
happens ???

2. I will suggest you boot with kmdb and get more information:

On x86, in the GRUB item, type "e" (for edit) and
then another "e" and then add "-k -d " to the end of the kernel line
or before the -B options. Finally, press return to boot this entry.

This will cause the kernel debugger to load

          Loading kmdb...

          Welcome to kmdb
kmdb: unable to determine terminal type: assuming `vt100'
Loaded modules: [ unix krtld genunix ]
          [0]>

At the debugger:
[0]> prom_debug/W 1
[0]> :c

When it panics and drop into debugger again, please get the following
output:

[0]> $C
[0]> $<msgbuf

If you have a digital camera or cell phone with camera, take a snapshot
on what is on the screen and send it via email
