Are you 100% sure about that? When I installed, I also thought my (AMI)BIOS didn't support booting from the secondary master, as it didn't appear in the boot order menu. Then I discovered another menu for enabling disks where I could select the other disk and AFTER that it appeared in the boot order menu instead of the first disk.
