Terminate the process, and edit the grub menu to point to the BE you want

do you mean that i can boot on b134 even if "pkg image-update" is killed?
do you know if the problem still exists in 2010.05 ? if not, i can wait the next release instead of trying to do
b111b (release) -> b134 (dev) -> b134b (release)
