Probably another newbie question, but I can't download from the FileManager
Portlet with
any role.  Upload is fine.

I want to use the portlet so that users can work with files without having
to
employ the jahia workflow process.

When I click on a file link, it shows a URL like
http://..../servlet/Filemanager/inline.html?actionReq=actionFileDownload&fil
eItem=1&fmngID=0&folderID=0

in this case for the second file located in the root folder. It displays
the 404, page not found message.

The catalina.log shows the following:
FilemanagerServlet :: FilemanagerServlet  doPerform
FilemanagerServlet :: action: *null*
FilemanagerServlet :: fileDownloaded: null
FilemanagerServlet :: FichothequeServlet: setParameters:
useMode(session)=shared
FilemanagerServlet :: FilemanagerServlet: setParameters: useMode=*shared360*
FilemanagerServlet ::  getFilemanagerByOwner Started
FilemanagerServlet ::  displayFilemanager started
FilemanagerServlet :: start buildOutPutFolderTree with nb folders : 1
FilemanagerServlet :: forward to filemanager.jsp

This happens no matter if I am the administrator with filemanager role of
user, contributor,
or manager, or any other user.

I have no problems editing the metadata for the file using the other
built-in commands of
the filemanager user interface and I can see the actual file in the
repository identified as:  FILE1091660337583inline.html

suggestions?

George
