We have done some fixes for this that will be included in Jahia 4.0.5. Also sometimes it is not Jahia that has a problem terminating but web applications (including the ones packaged with Jahia). I don't know if we will have the time to correct all the web applications in time for the 4.0.5 release, but Jahia definitely behaves a lot better during shutdown.

Anyway killing the processes after a shutdown is executed will not corrupt the system, so don't worry too much about it.

Hello,

I'm using a 4.0.4 build 5822 version of Jahia under linux RedHat.
I'm starting Jahia with the /*jahia.sh*/ script : ok
I'm trying ti shutdown Jahia with the /*shutdown.sh*/ script, but all java processes still running.
I have to kill all manually !!!

Any idea ?

Thank's a lot !
