still no luck. these r the results... --> about clean installation:- i have remove the old driver from the add/remove control panel. when i restart the computer windows run on video controller(windows default driver), but it automatically detect the chipset 915/910 and looks for its driver, when it doesn`t finds it (as i uninstall it) it asks for its location(by new hardware found dialog box), i cancel it....
n then i install the driver with modded inf --> installing through setup.exe:- i have tried both methods. n heres what happened.. it indicate that 965 driver installed successfully copying ... . . . creating key ... . . . installing diver: intel 965..... . installation has completed. click next to continue. but the whole process took hardly 5 second which means that nothing installed. after restart nothing changed (even 965 driver not showed in device manager like it it did when installed through have disk method(with exclaimation mark).) heres my observation:- latest intel 915 driver release date january 2007. setup.exe size (380kb) intel 945 driver release date febrary 2008. setup.exe size (898kb) intel 965 driver release date august 2008. setup.exe size (898kb) so 945 setup file can merge with 965 graphic file but 915 setup file cannot so any other idea... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "INTEL 9XX Gaming" group.
