I don't really mind the small resolution/low settings (takes me back to struggling top play DN3D on a pre-PowerPC Mac) as I'm more into the story/narative aspect of games. However, I got the game to perform with a nice framerate in DX7 mode in XP at a resolution of 800x600, the only problem being the overexposed texture problem as mentioned in my first post. Looks like a dual-boot is the only thing I can realistically do to get it going. I applied the 1.3 patch on CoD2, but it didn't seem to address the texture issue, nor did I notice any real difference in performance; I played through the first couple missions but it was mostly unplayable during firefights. You mentioned XP - have you managed to get the game to run with a playable rate and resolved the texture issue on WindowsXP?
