Yay, the problem is progressively being solved, but there is still a long road.
A friend of mine recommended me to see this forum: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/portal/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-42223055&pid=934386 I've done what it told me, and, in fact, I could go through portals and look through some of them. Unfortunately, this state didn't last forever. At a certain point, instead of the game crash, the computer rebooted itself. I tried twice, even with the 'portal render depth: 0'. But that's surely a progress. I can sound a bit extreme, but it is unexplainable how my heart was beating when I could go in places which I've never seen before, thinking that the great problem was finaly fixed, although it lasted something around 20 seconds.
