I just came across this place while looking for a way to get Portal working on the GMA 945, I have tried 2 drivers so far, the one I'm using now seems to be alright not too much of a performance increase though. The ones I have tried are: 1583, the one that Windows Update finds and lets you install(Prerelease WDDM 1.0), and 1545 the driver I'm using at the moment, so far none seem any better than the Prerelease WDDM 1.0 driver.
