absolutely NOT...you can't upgrade to win7 from winxp...plus, seriously why even bother to upgrade?? first of all...upgrading from one OS to another is bad...since u might've had some viruses or some #$ %@ in ur old windows...i think upgrading will only upgrade the OS and leaves everything else untouched so u might meet ur problems again....also, upgrading its self takes a HELL of a time...plus in your current situation its impossible!! sorry buddy, all u can do is BACK up everything u need (documents,pictures,music,downloads,videos,desktop files,firefox bookmarks, explorer favs, some hidden folders ''if u have any'' also check the windows drive for any files that maybe be needed) thats what i do every time i want to install a new windows (i only upgraded once).
