It should with the force software tnl thing. For me, when I used vista without MD, HGL didn't run too well for me. I never tried 3DA with it either then. Now on Win7 with MD and software vertex, HGL runs somewhat ok at highest settings (lowest resolution), or pretty decent at all lowest settings.
