Hmm my attempt at installing the driver sort of failed. Apparently you
need to have a certain kernel available, and Ubuntu 9.10 doesn't have
this kernel available by default. Idk if you could force it to install
or not either.

The step that fails is the step where you run the install.sh file. It
does a kernel checker. It has 2 options in the file for Fedora Core
and Modblin. Also the driver only is compatible with X server 1.6.3
and Ubuntu 9.10 has 1.6.4 but I would imagine you could downgrade it
if needed?
